Wood Wick Candle Care
**First Light:**
- Light the corner of the wood wick and let the flame carry across the width of the wick.
- Allow the melted wax to reach near the edges of the vessel during your first burn.
. **Burn Time:**
- Never burn your candle for longer than 3-4 hours.
- For longer life, blow out the candle after 3 hours.
**Wick Maintenance:**
- Trim the wood wick edges to 1/4" in between burns.
- If the flame dances too much, blow it out, trim the wick, then re-light.
. **Safety Precautions:**
- Never leave a candle unattended while burning.
- Always burn candles on a heat-resistant surface (not on wood or soft materials).
- Be careful not to touch the candle after burning; it remains hot for quite some time.
- Keep loose material and dust away from a burning candle.
- Popping and crackling with wood wicks is normal.
- NEVER extinguish your candle with water.
